Rejoice Moyo

Rejoice graduated from the University of Zimbabwe in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Physiotherapy. After graduating, she worked in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, where her work involved community rehabilitation and hospital based work.

In 2012, Rejoice migrated to Namibia where she kicked off her career in private practice. She worked in a a musculoskeletal setting with clients of varied ages and occupations.

Rejoice migrated to Australia in early 2020, establishing herself at Proactive Physiotherapy not long before the coronavirus pandemic. She has shown incredible fortitude to be separated from her family through this time.

Rejoice believes that client-centred care is of crucial importance, across the age divide, combined with a holistic approach incorporating all aspects of an individual’s being. She believes that continuing education is crucial to delivery of best practice for better treatment outcomes as well as client and therapist satisfaction.

Rejoice is skilled in the use of dry needling and manual therapy techniques. Over the years, she has continued to partake in different continuing professional development courses, currently including training in the Watson Headache Approach, comprising migraine and headache treatments.

Proactive Physiotherapy is open for face-to-face visits and group exercise classes.

Your safety is our top priority. We have developed a protocol to ensure that all government recommendations including physical distancing and cleaning are adhered to. We have COVID-safe cleaning procedures in place, we are vetting everyone who comes into the clinic for any symptoms of illness, and we are maintaining social distancing where it is appropriate and possible.

To help minimise any risks, please do not come into the clinic unless you are a patient, parent of a minor who is a patient, or translator or carer for a patient attending the clinic. If you do not wish to come into the clinic, but still require some assistance, please call 40840602 to organise a telehealth appointment.

We look forward to assisting our clients, old and new, in these unusual times and will temper our approach to community safety as the COVID situation fluctuates.

Thank you for your understanding.

Julie Faulks and the entire Proactive Physio team.
