Originally from Tokyo Japan, joining the practice as a business manager in 2022.
She used to be a practice manager of GP practice for many years and has extensive knowledge of Medicare, DVA, Workcover and insurance. She also managed the COVID-19 vaccination clinic during the pandemic in 2019.
Married to local GP with 2 young adult children. Makiko is a founder of Drum Infinity Mugendai Inc which is well known NPO Japanese Taiko Drumming group in Cairns. Her passion to perform Taiko drum at many local events.
