Bio

Kate is a Cairns local who moved to Townsville to complete her Physiotherapy studies, graduating from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2017.

After commencing her career on the Gold Coast, where she worked for a community based allied health organisation for two years, Kate returned home to Cairns in January 2020 to be closer to her family.

As well as expanding her interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Kate had a particular interest in improving the everyday life of her elderly female clients through education and advice in the areas of core strength and pelvic floor stability.

Kate brings a caring and patient-centred approach to her patients, providing evidence supported treatments to a range of musculoskeletal presentations and women’s health issues.
