Mike obtained his Master’s Degree of Physiotherapy in the UK at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2012.
Originally from Canada, Mike’s prior background involved a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomechanics from his home country in 2007. As such, Mike has been involved in strength and rehabilitation for over 10 years, and has a passion for helping people improve their quality of life.
Outside of his clinical background, Mike was a competitive powerlifter for 8 years, and has helped to coach athletes at two World Championships in his sport. As such he has a genuine interest in helping people get better through movement.
Within a clinical setting, Mike has an active interest in shoulder, hip, and spine biomechanics and rehabilitation, and his experience has left him well versed in all types of musculoskeletal conditions.
Having practiced physiotherapy in three countries (Australia, Canada, and the UK), Mike has a wide range of treatment experience, and has training in dry needling, movement screening, Pilates, and all forms of strength and conditioning.
